(Taking the Lord’s Supper and flourishing in sin makes you lose salvation).
I would like to clarify this phrase. Jesus came for sinners to repent. So the Lord’s Supper is to replace the sin offering.
The sinners must take the Lord’s Supper in according to obtain salvation. Paul said that if you are not worthy to take the Lord’s Supper you will get all kind of sicknesses.
Please allow me to say that Paul is wrong. The Lord’s Supper is for the sinners; the righteous could take the Lord’s Supper also.
Jesus said: I came for sinners to repent. The unhealthy person needs doctor not the healthy one.
In the way that Paul said it that the sinners are not allowed to take the Lord’s Supper. Paul is wrong.
The person that repents and takes the Lord’s Supper considers saved (according to God grace and Jesus’ Word).
But if this person kept on sinning against God he/she will face judgment. This person could repent again if he/she transgresses God’s law ignorantly or under obligation.
In this case I can’t be the judge, and will never be a judge in all the cases, God is.
I don’t know how many times God forgives a saved person. According to God’s Word a person couldn’t keep his/her salvation if they flourish in sin after been saved, unless they repent again and ask God for forgiveness.
I don’t know how many times God will forgive a saved person that transgresses His law.
I repeat, God is the judge not I. But according to God’s Word we can’t continue living in sin because we are saved. We will lose this grace when we abuse it.
Paul insures salvation for saved people through faith even in transgression after been saved. Paul is sick.
