Hi, I am asking for a prayer request for the disabled woman that i take care of. Her name is Mistie and she was born with Spina Bifida, a condition that leaves the spinal cord on the outside of the body. She has been thru so much in her young life. From hip surgerys to major spinal cord surgery. Lately she has been pretty ill and has been having a lot of things going on with her not feeling well. This past friday I had to call 911 because she had what we think was a gran-ma seizure. She had four that day all together. Ever since then she has been wanting to do nothing but sleep, she cant help it. The neurologist said that they are some other sort of seizure but he was unable to witness it and i dont think he really knows. He put her on topamax and it seems to help some but she still has a lot of dizzyness and discomfort, with head aches and nausea. She also has a bp shunt for the fluid on her brain and they said it looked ok along with the blood tests. There has been more than one occasion where they have said it was ok when in fact it wasnt, it was clogged. With all of this she has been really down and out of it and seems to have memory problems from the seizure or from just all the stress, which i dont know. I seem to think and feel that the doctors are puting her off for some reason. They dont really look into things anymore than they see. So i am asking for prayer for her and i in this time of trouble and emotion. Thank you and God bless you.
