Dear saint of God
Praise be to the Lord Jesus
It is a thanksgiving message to all of the list in my address book. After a long time I am sending an email. For I was strictly banned out of the computer by the doctors.Our Lord has graciously given me a new sight with a new life and strength.
Certainly it's because of your prayers. I thank you for the continuous prayers for me and my family. Praise the Lord.
One evening at the beginning of october (2002) I had gone to conduct a Bible class for the seekers from Muslim community. About 25 people attended. Everybody submitted themselves before the Word of God and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savioiur. When I returned back from the Bible class, a group of fanatic people have beaten me by the iron pipes and I became unconcious. When I opened my eyes I found I was in the hospital and my wife Mercy and children Besly, Hepzy and Lesly along with some believers were beside me with full of tears.
Because of the injury on head, my memory power and sight went down. I have been admitted to the hospital for treatment several times. My wife suffered tooooooo much to pay hospital bill, house rent, children's fees, and food.
My children experienced hunger. They clothed old, torned and ugly uniforms. Our house owner wanted to vacate the house because of the due of the rent. We did not know what to do and where to go. But he lost peace and became sleepless. He rushed the hospital to see me.
That lead me to share him my testemony and the Word of God. Though he was a member of hindu royal family of around 60 years, he accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour. Now he is a good help for us; but his children are deadly against of his christian faith.
Really we faced a terrible time of trials and temptations. I thank God a few children of God helped us in that crisis. It was a great.... very very great help for us.
I do not know how to say thanks for those who helped in the time of our need. Many prayed for us. Many encouraged us with letters and cards by snail. We thank God for all of them.
May God reward you and your generations. AMEN! When I felt my health is somewhat better, doctor asked me to have a family trip.
We have travelled to the mission field of Hinduppara Village. But after the trip my eyes began to swelling with severe pain. I knew I am becoming blind. Doctors scanned my head and found that the nerve between brain and retina is too weak. They prescribed to inject a costly medicine to that nerve through the eyes.
The value of the medicine is unaffodable for us. My wife and little son Lesly were with me and I heard they crying aloud before God. My eldor son Besly and daughter Hepzy were at home alone and they both have taken 72 hours fast even without drinking water.
My wife and myself did not know they were fasting. Many prayer warriors like you uphold my children, my wife and myself in the prayers. At the end of their fasting my daughter had a guiddiness and my son became unable to speak and walk. Some of our neighbours took them to the nearest nursing home.
At the same time our Lord Jesus touched me, healed me and gave my sight back miraculously through a small accident. Doctors scanned my head again and again and found no weakness on the same nerve. Praise the Lord.
I returned back home and began to do ministry again. Pray for me, my family, new believers and the seekers of Christ Jesus our Mighty and Wonderful Lord.
